Our Story

Newstrike is a gold/silver focused exploration company with 88,952.42 contiguous hectares located strategically on the strike extension of the emerging Guerrero Gold Belt mining camp. Newstrike manages its land position as three contiguous projects: the advanced stage Ana Paula Project, and the early stage Aurea Norte, and the Aurea Sur projects. Newstrike’s mineral claims are located immediately adjacent to Torex’s Morelos project and 28 km from Goldcorp’s Los Filos mine.

The Guerrero Gold Belt (“GBB”) is located in the State of Guerrero, Mexico, north of Acapulco City. It extends for at least 55 Km from southeast to northwest and remains open to exploration in all directions. The GGB today has an inventory of over 31 million* ounces of gold, which continues to increase with ongoing exploration and/or mine development by all participants currently active in the area.

Newstrike’s management team was instrumental in the discovery of over eight million of those gold ounces.

 Our Primary Focus

With a strong management team and 100% ownership of property with strong exploration upsides and balance sheet, Newstrike is committed to increasing the current resource base through an aggressive exploration program.

Present Operations

Newstrike released an initial resource for the Ana Paula in March 2013 and is currently conducting early-stage drill programs at Aurea Norte based on surface geology with anomalous outcrop geochemistry and coincident ZTEM anomalies identified by electromagnetic survey.
